The diptych no. 4 features the photographs *Conifers (Studio 1)* and *Conifers (Studio 2)* from the "Syksy" project.
"Syksy," which means autumn in Finnish, is my third abstract photography project, created in Finland, primarily in the most remote areas of Lapland, during the autumn of 2021.
Lapland's autumn offers one of the most captivating natural spectacles on Earth, from the well-known "ruska" phenomenon, the autumn foliage with its lights and color contrasts, to the absolute grandeur of the Northern Lights.
The photographs in “Syksy” depart from the minimalism typical of the vast majority of my work, instead placing greater emphasis on the interplay between the lights and colors of the subjects captured.
In *Conifers (Studio 1)* and *Conifers (Studio 2)*, within an almost entirely desaturated scene, the tones appear soft and blurred, and the conifers seem to merge and quietly fade into the mist, which becomes the true protagonist of these two shots.
In this diptych, the two photographs each have a format of 50x75 cm, with an additional 5 cm white border on each side to allow for easy mounting on a frame and subsequent framing.
✔️ UNIQUE WORK (Limited edition of 1) and will not be reissued or reproduced once sold;
✔️ Giclée fine art print on Innova Exhibition Matte Polycotton Canvas 380gsm (with margin of 5 cm);
✔️ Hand signed on the back;
✔️ Certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered;
✔️ Hahnemühle matt protective varnish for canvas inkjet prints applied.
