Working in series these two paintings are part of a set of 4 all painted simultaneously - 2 smaller also. Part of what I like to call my 'flow' paintings where the only influence I have is the music I'm playing & the mindfulness while applying the paint - not overthinking it, just going with the process...painted on square box canvases, so the work continues around the sides & edges.

Worked on textured surfaces, the first has lots of quite a 'rough' texture, the second has a slightly more refined surface & the addition of some subtle incorporated skeleton leaves, picked out in subtle copper golds. Overall the palettes are warm rusty reds, pinks and touches of dark prussian blue & teal with coppery gold highlights to the texture. Some simple spiral marks & symbols here and there on closer inspection. These would make an interesting & decorative addition to your interior. Ready to hang.
