Mandala Crown Collection 2, “Rainbow Platinum” and “Rainbow Gold”

My second series of watercolours where I fuse the image of a Rolex watch as an attributes of modern life and traditional mandala. Inspired by a great watch maker Rolex as a reflection on modern society and its values, as well as beauty, professionalism and quality.

In these two Mandalas I have combined colourful parts with achromatic ones in order to balance the overall picture and achieve a stable and harmonious image.

Circle is a very powerful universal symbol that represents protection, wholeness, original perfection, the infinite etc. There is a simple but powerful technique recommended by psychologists: to draw on a daily basis something you wish to come or to happen in your life INSIDE of a circle. It mush be the same thing every day, we should not be greedy and draw every day something new and different. By doing that, entering in to some sort of meditative state while drawing, you create a protective and safe aura inviting those events or things to reveal itself in your life.
