This painting comes as two panels of 100cm square each. They can be hung either side by side horizontally or on top of each other vertically.

This image is in some ways two frames of an animation of an iris as it shows the dilation, the opening. When the eye dilates, it’s like a window opening, A glimpse into the depths of what makes us whole. It’s a moment of vulnerability, of openness and trust, A chance to see beyond the surface and beyond the dust.

It’s a time when we’re exposed, when we’re laid bare, When we’re forced to confront what we might not want to share. It’s a moment of truth, of clarity and insight, A chance to see ourselves in a different light.

So let your eyes dilate, let them open wide, And see what’s inside you that you might try to hide. Embrace the emotions that come with this change, And let them guide you on your journey, no matter how strange.
