Artwork description:

This piece is a mounted one-off, original screenprint in a custom perspex frame. The light qualities of the perspex frame work with the colours within the screenprint, making the image seem different in every lighting condition.
The coloured perspex frames reflect the playful approach I take when creating each piece. Everything I do is completely unique and different every time.
The work is sandwiched between two pieces of perspex, with spilt batons on the reverse so it is easily attachable to the wall.
This piece of work is inspired and a reflection of the combination of my surroundings and environments, as I equally split my time between the English rural countryside and the geometric cityscape of London.
I work with contrasts in line, colour and form. A sense of harmony is achieved by balancing this series of juxtapositions.

Materials used:

Paper and perspex
