The Derwent at Belper - view from the artists studio
An original, vibrant and atmospheric colourfield oil painting onto stretch box canvas, signed by Christopher Gill.
Inspired by autumn splendour of a misty day- this is the view from my studio across the millpond that fed the turbines at the old mill which was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Today this mill is a World Heritage Site and the home of my studio.
Overall dimension measure 100 x 70 cm x 4 cm. The painting is unframed but can be supplied with a simple wooden beaded edging if requested.
