Original artwork description:

I painted this after a visit to Derwent Water, Keswick, a beautiful lake in the north of the English Lake District. These ferry boats make regular trips across the lake stopping at these little jetties that are dotted around it's perimeter. My daughter stopped to feed the ducks and this gave me time to make some quick sketches and take some reference photos. I completed the painting in my studio at home.
