While my family went down the Blue John Mine in Derbyshire I sat outside in the sun. Who wants to go down a dank old mine when the sun is shining?
I painted this scene in Derbyshire with bold brushstrokes loaded with luscious oil paint.
This canvas is unframed but the sides are painted, and the back furnished with D rings and framer's cord so it is ready to hang.
