That work is produced during my participation in the art residency in Prespa Lake, North Macedonia. I used mixed media to make a print of a land art installation created by me described above art residency.
The land art installation is inspired by the past and present of the place where it was created. I use simple natural laws and materials to show the feeling I felt. The artwork consists of a number of stones connected by a metal rope. The rocks symbolize the different peoples and nationalities, connected to each other by a thread (metal rope), and interact with each other. They are separate units themselves, but also a common whole. Thus, the neighboring nations have an individual singularity and present, but also a shared past and root. Through the laws of physics (weight, mass, and energy), I show that when you place (swing) one unit of artwork, all units move and interact – so do peoples and nationalities: influence and determine a common direction. The work is placed on an apple tree as part of the place in which it was created.
