Original artwork description:

I have made it a study to paint ballet feet in and out of shoes. The feet are such a integral part of ballet but in many paintings they are captured as the most beautiful part of the dancer, and they are, but they are also incredibly hard working instruments. I loved painting this work, the toes turned out for balance, the veins across the top, and the strength in the arches. As they are bare the painting is a lot more intimate and raw than the works in pointe shoes, and all the better for it.

It comes framed in solid wood, painted light grey, and mounted in acid free card. If you wanted to frame it yourself just send a note and I can send the canvas board by itself.
