Do you remember yourself as a child? Do you remember a sense of delight? Do you remember how was it? Sincere, impulsive, filled with lots of feelings. The child’s delight is sudden, and sometimes the reasons for such reaction are not clear in adults.
Being children, we were consisted of delight. For us the World and everything in it was new, fresh, surprising and unknown. Every day was special. Every day promised an adventure. And we felt like creators. The best feeling!
Alas, as we grow older we lose the ability to admire everything. Phenomena, events and objects become just a background for things that seem important to us, and moments seem discolored.
The girl and the sense of delight - the characters of my painting. The way she expresses delight is direct, with simple sincerity. It tells us that the girl retains an ability to admire. She is a child, open and ready for a miracle, who is completely devoted to the magic of the moment.

In the process of working on this painting I used a mastic, a special spatula. With this tool, you can gently apply paints with smooth stroke or mix paints right on a canvas, and give them an absolutely incredible texture.
The painting is ready to be hanged. There is a special mount for the wall.
The ends of the canvas are painted, so no additional frame is required.
