Original artwork description:

Inspired by the rich floral fauna of Aruba, there are many opportunities to capture the colors I see all around me. The mood of the colors is essential to my creation. I let the wheel flow over the canvas in a style reminiscent of Joan Mitchell style paintings. My move to Aruba has resulted in the experimentation and discovery of my unique style infused with the marks of paradise represented in bold coloration.

While teaching my workshops and inspiring people in my retreats I demonstrate in each each painting the rush of color and emotion that is a clue to the innovation and joy in each composition.
