Original artwork description:

Picnic in a sunny landscape - I painted my friends more than 30 years ago remembering the famous Edouard Manet and his artwork "déjeuner sur l'herbe".
In 1985 I started with abstract painting, but had been in a transition period between realistic and non-figurative style.
Dozens of figurative works have been sold before and this is one of few realistic works left which I found in my studio.
The painting is dated and signed on the front, additionally titled, dated and signed on the back. The frame in the additional pictures is not included, but the painting is ready to hang with a hook on the back.
