This painting was done in the winter after spending time in England. I saw beautiful colors and tried to capture the nature of Defiance using the colors I saw in the UK. The interesting thing about this piece I had to go in and out of the shower to take the paint off to get the paint on the way I wanted to. I was looking for an effect that could only be achieved by doing this. Since it was winter the only place to do it was in the shower.
