The project under the general name "Consumption (material resources)" reflects my view on the modern society. This is a series of portraits of my contemporaries, inhabitants of megacities. In its own way each of my heroes tries to join, adapt or resist the environment. The image created in the painting "Defense" conveys the sensations of a person that trying to "close" himself from the outside world, in which there are so many things that hurts us. He wants to take cover and find a way to protect against "sharp", "iron" items attacking him. Allegory of injustice, cruelty of our world are table objects, they embody the apogee of the “consumption society”.
One of the main imaginative components of my project is "found objects". In my works with help of "ready-made" objects I create the image of a "predatory", aggressive modern society, its material component. A combination of three-dimensional objects and a planar image betrays an even greater three-dimensionality and expressiveness to images.
