Painted on-site in Minneapolis, MN. Features an autumn tree with beautifully deep, rich red foliage, with highlights ranging from cherry red and pink. The scene is accented by small evergreen trees at lower left, vibrant orange and gold shrubs to the right, and golden grasses. Painted on board with oil over casein paint. The soft, matte texture of the casein background contrasts with the thick, glossy oil of the foliage. Includes iridescent gold paint in the grass and shrubs. Paint has been applied with both palette knife and brush, with delicate lines of trunk and branches, and thickly textured impasto leaves.
Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with an expresso-black finish and gold inner edge. May also be purchased unframed.
Compact enough to fit into many places Would be a wonderful pick-me-up for an office or living space.
