Original artwork description:

Strolling through woodlands bring freedom and escapism. It gives you a chance to breathe. The birdsong is all around and the trees put life into perspective. I love painting my emotional response to this environment. This time of year is wonderful when everything goes green and comes to life. This is an oil on canvas which has been worked on over time layering colour and texture with palette knives and scrapers. The edges are painted with Paynes grey and this piece is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Oil, Canvas, Wax Medium.
