As soon as I finished my still life with lemons, I wanted to write something in steam to those yellow lemons. Probably everyone knows that the best yellow colour shades blue. And since I live in a country house in the village at this time of year, I decided to grow different greens for a salad, including onions.
And so successfully, I combined these two concepts in my mind - bow and blue. I remembered the decorative bow. It's called Allium - it's Latin, and there are many varieties of it.
I would never have thought that onions, a vegetable that I have not loved since childhood, could be not only helpful but also very beautiful.
Of course, I'm not talking about the beauty of the bulb, but about the colours of the onion.
Flowers of decorative onions come in a variety of colours. From lilac to blue cobalt. I think they're great.

When I send the pastel picture to the new owner, I pack it in cardboard passe-partout and tracing paper so that the pastel layer is as protected as possible.
