This piece was a commission. After buying another of Jamie's paintings - ‘Blood Money’, the client then commissioned him to paint the second piece to accompany it. The brief was specific- Deadpool playing poker with his feet up on the table, holding up these two aces, with silhouettes of other players in the foreground. As an added touc, in the meta style of dead pool himself Jamie added his painting Blood Money hanging on the wall behind Deadpool. A touch that I'm sure Deadpool himself would love.
