Dead Sun II is one of two works that represent a fantasy that was probably inspired by Pink Floyd's 'Set the Control for the Heart of the Sun'. The picture shows the sun as a machine that for some reason has stopped. We see the 'heart' as a large lump of black matter hanging in the space on some pipes or other type of connecting lines just like a real heart is connected to a body with veins and arteries.
