This is a transcription of a drawing by De Bruyn, re-drawn working from directly from the original in the library of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

Having learnt the recent research about how bees interact with flowering plants, from Cambridge University, this artwork is painted in UV and pulls us closer to the deeper message of how bees see and interact with flowering plants.

To see this picture in the dark you need a UV torch then the hidden message is revealed. They cost around £15 and can be brought from somewhere like Amazon.

Materials used:

Underneath etched x5, each picture them painted in mixed media paints
