This work is a story of spontaneity and minimalism. 'Daydream' is soft in lighter colours which include warm white, light taupe, gold, pink and a of hint blue. The work is happy and gestural exuding a peaceful experience for the viewer.

A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied for protection.

The painting is signed on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

FOR COLLECTORS WITHIN NORTH AMERICA:
This painting is ready to hang with wire attached and will be shipped in a box.

FOR ALL OTHER DESTINATIONS (outside of North America):
This painting will be sent rolled in a TUBE (without stretcher bars) to allow for reasonably priced shipping and safe transport. Any professional framer shop can arrange to re-stretch the work at a reasonable cost.

Joyce Fournier is a multidisciplinary painter and sculptor living and working in Toronto. Art is her true passion, and she has had an extensive art practice for more than 25 years consisting of Abstract Works, Landscapes, Figurative Works, and Bronze Sculpture.

While her current focus is Abstract Expressionist painting, Joyce also has a love for sculpting, painting and drawing the human form for which she was academically trained. She has been most influenced by the Abstract Expressionist movement of post-World War II America such as the works of Robert Motherwell, Franz Kline, and Hans Hofmann as well as the works of Joan Mitchell and Canadian artist, Jean Albert McEwen.

Joyce has exhibited her work in solo and group shows in several cities in North America, and Europe. (Montreal, Toronto, New York City, Miami, Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, Paris, Amsterdam, Leipzig, Hamburg, Florence, Rome)

Featured on several occasions in American Art Collector magazine since 2009, her work is found in private collections in Canada, The United States, and Internationally.
