Dawn Prelude of the Sea. ORIGINAL watercolor from the set Sea Melodies. 56x38cm (22x15in). The artwork is unique and one of a kind.
The sea sounds and fascinates, even if its melody is somewhere in the depths of the subconscious. And if I am not a musician but an artist, this sound turns into a watercolor. Recalling the music of the sea, I painted two sea watercolors "Dawn Prelude of the Sea" and "Melody of the Surf". They are different because the sea plays improvising every time. They are unique, just like every moment lived by the sea.
Dawn Prelude of the Sea
In my imagination, I saw a treble clef into the form of a boat with a lowered sail, pauses-stones that can be seen from the water, a pause-seagull, notes-sailboats. The piles of fishing nets turned into dashes that separate the bars, and the morning barely noticeable waves became the lines of the musical staff... The dawn prelude of the sea sounded out of the silence.
