Blue and white abstract seascape Set of 3 Prints for above the bed or over the sofa.
A triptych of my new series Sea Nymphs focussing on the transient beauty of water. The Sea Nymphs or Nereids are the daughters of the Greek God Nereus and were considered to be incredibly beautiful.
The images were made at the top of the fabulous Kilt Rock Waterfall on the Isle of Skye. The water flows from Mealt Loch (lake) which sits in front of my studio over the edge of the cliff and falls 200 feet to the rocks below. I take the photographs on days when the tide is high and the waves are rough but strong sunlight brings out the sparkle and colour of the water.
This Set of Three Prints includes the Nymphs Erato, Amphitrite and Galene.
Each print is 20 x 30 inches plus approximately 1 inches of white border for handling. The title, number and signature is in the border under the image and on the back of the print. If hung with a 2 inches gap this would fill a space of 64 inches. If framed, then the size of the space they fill will increase according to the moulding chosen and whether you add a mat or not.
About My Work
I use wonderful Canson Aquarelle 310gsm paper which has the most fabulous watercolour paper texture and holds colour for a lifetime. Canson have been making paper for over 450 years and their paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Miro and Warhol to name but a few. The inks I use are state-of-the-art non fade Epson Ultrachrome K3 with Vivid Magenta.
Your print is signed and numbered in the bottom corner and signed, titled and numbered on the back. The prints are carefully wrapped then shipped rolled in a sturdy art tube.
I am very particular about printing! Unlike many photographers, I print all my own work so that I remain in control of the art from concept to delivery. If you have any questions please get in touch for a chat.
