Neutral colours minimalist fine art print with a lone tree.
This beautiful little tree sits in the middle of a quiet loch in the Scottish Highlands as if set adrift on an island all on it's own. I love the tenacity of this small, seemingly delicate creature that survives all weathers and storms year after year. The tree grows on a Crannog, a small island where people had a dwelling thousands of years ago.
Printed at 32 x 48 inches with a 2 inches white border with the title, signature and print number under the image.
Available in other sizes and on canvas.
About My Work
I believe in giving my clients beautiful artwork on luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime! For these special prints of my work I use dreamy, light textured Canson Aquarelle Paper and the highest quality inks. I do all my own printing, having spent years learning this skill I prefer to maintain control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.
About My Materials
People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use. Canson are one of the oldest paper manufacturers in the world, they have been making paper for over 450 years in France. Founded in 1557 and printers to Louis XVI, their paper was used by Voltaire and Napoleon and the Montgolfier brothers used Canson paper to make the first hot air balloon. Canson paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Chagal, Miro and many other artists. They have been making paper and canvas for photography since this art began over 150 years ago. Canson are Eco Friendly - they purchase paper pulp only from forests managed in a sustainable way which also makes them pretty special.
