Ardvreck Castle on Loch Assynt in Sutherland, the far north west Scottish Highlands. This is a long exposure photograph dramatising the moody skies so typical of my island home. The castle was built around 1590 by the MacLeods.
Printed on St. Cuthbert's Mill heavy weight fine art paper. St Cuthbert's Mill has been making paper since the 1700s using one of the few remaining cylinder mould machines left in the world. The paper is 360gsm that looks and feels like a thick watercolour paper.
The print will have about two inches white border and be signed, numbered and titled under the image.
