This transparent horse reveals the skeletal system during the dressage movement, piaffe. The anatomy was researched and approved by preeminent veterinarians in the field of equine medicine..

Commissioned for the cover of the "United States Dressage Federation" magazine Connections, it was inspired by "The Vitruvian Man" by Leonardo da Vinci circa 1487. This could be considered the "Canon of Proportions" for the horse performing the dressage movement piaffe.

The black background has some beautiful handmade textures throughout. The quality of the lines reflects the antique approach to the style overall. The painting has deep sides and can be hung as is, or framed.
