Original artwork description:

My latest (April 2024) art on leather painting on the Sweet Lips theme and style. This unique hand painted on leather artwork measures 12x20" box framed and ready to wall hang.

Inspired by wanting to create, in a realism style, an abstract painting morphing the brightness of a sweet/candy wrapper and voluminous lips.

Hand painted on black leather to make best use of the tactile nature of the lightly textured leather to give depth to the art - that can also be touched as the artwork does not need to be behind glass. The paint finish is the same that I do art on leather jackets etc and uses a specialised technique using industry- leading materials.

As for longevity of this unique style of artwork, I live in Hereford where the Cathedral has the medieval Mappa Mundi and one of the 3 original copies of the Magna Carta - both painted on velum.

I do ship to most countries, given the current complexities over some major carriers limiting destinations, differing shipping and import tax rates I have limited the international shipping of my listings. If you are seriously interested in a piece and you are outside the UK please message me here through Artfinder and I can work out a bespoke shipping quote for you. I will endeavour to find out and include import duty (if applicable) as well so you will have full visibility of costs with the added benefit of art not being subject to a 'customs delay'.
