This work was inspired by the works of the late Canadian painter Jean Albert McEwen and his unique layering technique in painting. The work, most of which was painted with a palette knife, is rich in variations of dark blue and teal, upon a textured base of Gesso. Hints of green pop out from the background along with purple and gold to create a 'Dappled' mystery. The sides are painted black.
This painting is ready to hang with wire attached
This painting has been created using professional acrylic paint. A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied for protection
The painting is signed on the front and back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
