Tell me - you love dandelions too! Those airy, weightless umbrellas that live on a thin stalk. The dandelion is free - it can fly. This happy, flying state is familiar to me. When I paint watercolours I am in the state of a weightless dandelion which flies up to look at familiar things from a different angle.

I like to look for meaning in the shadows cast by plants. By interpreting them in my own way, I live each image and paint as my heart sees it. I do not intend to paint in a similar way. By departing from the usual notion of nature, I see things differently. My work is expressive, but full of love and serenity at the same time.
