Artwork description:

Two delightful fish tailed ladies are entwined in this underwater scene. Large kelp type plants stand around them . The hair has been printed in gold ink and the tails in silver ink.

This is a Reduction linocut, which uses one piece of lino progressively cut and printed, destroying the lino in the process. This means that the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start to determine the final number in the edition, which in this case is eight.

Materials used:

Lino printed on 200g Snowdon Cartridge paper using linseed oil based inks
