This painting Dancing Tree Ridge is inspired by a ridge of Trees that act as a local landmark in Co.Wicklow, these trees where used as an navigational aid to Pilots in the last war, as they stand proud on a high ridge and can be seen for miles around, there local name is the Old Soldiers but on a sunny summer day I like to think of them as dancing across the landscape filled with the joy of life!
