Continuing in the series of paintings inspired from the choreographer Constantinos Tsakirelis. With this painting I have lightened the background to highlight the happy nature of being on the beach. The colours have been broken down into two. This is because the dancers are always in unnatural light, with blue being the most used light. The bright orange balls reminds the viewer that the dance is modern. As the series progresses it is taking on more of a pop art feel. Also the brush strokes are getting more loose which highlights the action of moving. (The balls are much more orange in real life).
As the painting is very large it must be shipped rolled up. Once collected it can be taken to a framer and re stretched. It can look good just on stretchers or with a frame as well.
