This painting was done from life, a set-up of one of my orchids in full bloom. I love the delicacy of those petals, the soft shifts in colour, the rhythm of the flowers on the stem, like a dance of light.

Painted alla prima on a canvas panel, using high-quality oil paints.

Signed on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
