I love the Old Town of Chania on the island of Crete. These days the streets are full of tourists but in the past there must have been lots of happiness and dancing.
This painting was an exercise in working on my oil painting technique. I do not normally go to so much trouble. The result is more traditional than I normally go. It is a lovely painting in real life!
