I love to look for meaning in the shadows that plants cast. By interpreting them in my own way, I live each image and paint as my heart sees it. I am not going to paint in the same way. Departing from the usual view of nature, I see flowers in the shadow of leaves and vice versa. My work is expressive but also filled with love and serenity.

The inspiration for starting this work was the shade of a Zamioculcas plant that grows in my home.

My watercolours are the world I live in before I paint it.
