"Danaida" is a drawing made with a technique of drawing charcoal, pencil and pastels. The starting point for this work is nature, the goal - abstraction, which allows to pay attention not only to the visible world, but also the other - invisible, which is definitely more interesting and richer. The female figure in this work is an abstract element, not expressed directly - it creates a picture full of understatements, dissonance, provoking new meanings along with another layer. The theme here is not an illustration of reality, but a specific climate, a mental state, a fissure in a time when material encounters something immaterial.

The drawing was made on rigid high-quality paper, resistant to light. The artist's monogram is located in the lower right corner, on the work front.
