Original artwork description:

Well this is a damsel that is not in distress. She may be at the top of a tower looking out? A long languid body, enticing a saviour, or a feisty warrior soaking up the morning rays. You decide.

Hard dark brown conte pastel makes the lovely lines when using the edge. The positioning of the drawing means it can be shown in different shapes - create a mount to give a square of paper around the drawing or stick with a rectangle.

Bonus ... on the reverse/vecto there is a second drawing in black conte with the same fludity encouraged by this models body shape and posing. With careful handling and mounting you could switch to the other side every few months! Size easily sits in an A2 frame.

Created on an off-white paper 42 x 58 cm (16 x 23 ") so will be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing).

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

Materials used:

Conte pastel
