The setting is my absolute favorite spot in Paris... Well; maybe my favorite spot in the world... I like the quietness of this piece, as compared to many of my paintings... It looks to me just like the Luxumbourg Gardens feels, on any given day.... Step off the bustling streets of Paris, and as one sets foot in "Le Jardin", one is transported to a calm, and most lovely setting. Children laughing and pushing wooden boats around a pond with a stick, birds chirping, and ponies plodding along, all mingle to create a very "Once upon a time" world... This canvas is painted around the edges so that it can be hung unframed....
