When I was on holiday in France with my family a few years ago, we were sitting in a cafe enjoying a drink, when the most wonderfully potty lady walked past. She was wearing an outfit straight out of the 1940's and was pushing an old Silvercross pram. In the pram were three little chihuahua's, all wearing different coloured net ruffs around their necks. I couldn't believe my eyes and quickly grabbed for my sketchbook. I've now finally popped her in to this painting!
