Original artwork description:
A lonely stone barn surrounded by sheep grazing the meadows of the Swaledale valley.
The dry stone walls frame the view of a rough path through the meadows to the barn and beyond.
This painting is based on a photo taken during a recent trip to Muker. We walked along the Swale and I could have painted 100 views just like this with beautiful stone barns perched on the floor of the valley set amongst buttercups and grasses.
The painting is supplied all ready to hang in a grey wooden frame with a double mount and navy inset. If this painting is travelling outside of the UK, I will replace the glass with acrylic for safety.
