I am loving the idea of a central image surrounded by a motif and this is the second in my "Daisy Chain" series of original paintings.

Walking in the countryside, enjoying the sights and sounds of the warm day, time is not an issue as you have the whole day to just drink in your surroundings. You stop for a rest and make a crown of daisies ... I remember doing this!

This painting is sold in a white frame, which sets the colours off to perfection, and is a really good contrast to the black - a colour I rarely use in my work, but one which just fitted the bill on this occasion.

Signed on the front and varnished.
