I felt really nostalgic as soon as I decided upon a daisy chain as a border for this colourful painting. The central spiral takes the viewer on a walk through meadows full of flowers and the daisy chain might very well allude to the quiet moment we all take, mid-walk, to drink in the peace and quiet, while making a memento of the day to wear as a necklace on the way home.

The edges of the canvas are painted a rich royal blue in a continuation of the colour which surrounds the spiral

. This painting is sold unframed; it can be hung on the wall as it is, using the wooden structure behind the canvas, or you may prefer to have it framed with hardware to hang.

Signed on the front and varnished.
