A pink purple sunrise this morning, the first sun rays are touching the land, the roofs of the farm are dark. This is my polder, every moment different, every day new. My Zeeland, famous for the special light.
" The purple sky, reflected in the traces on the land and the dark roofs, is intense, almost overwhelming. It looks like an abstraction before we get this hint of humanity. There is sense of solitude, almost loneliness."
