On an a dreary, rainy April day, a friend brought me a fresh, fragrant bouquet of Daffodils. They were cheering reminders of the upside of spring -and I had the perfect vase for them.
Although water colors are my medium I felt pastels were needed for this drawing. The dreary day was in the muted background and the happiness of spring in the brilliant contrasting colors.
