Original artwork description:

Daffodils are the cheeriest flower! After a long somber winter, the burst of daffodils always cheers me. They seem so defiant in their bold colors. Yet, inevitably, we get snow or ice storm while they are blooming and I race outside to save some from impending disaster.

Then, of course, they must be painted!

I love the loose brushwork in this painting - as if they are moving, not still. There are layers of colors peaking through and shimmering.

This is painted on a gessoed panel which I have then cradled and framed.
The frame is included.
