We have milk sachets delivered to home every morning and the dairy delivery man carries a bag full of these sachets and drops these into small bags that each of the houses in the neighborhood hangs on their gates.

Every day at 6.30 am we can hear his bicycle bell going "tring tring" and we know that he has delivered milk. He is so diligent that rain or shine, we get our sachet of milk at 6.30 am! One day I offered him a cup of coffee, but he politely declined saying that he had promises to keep, and deliver at the houses ahead without any delay! It's a wonder that these days too we have people who work so sincerely for the small remuneration they get! On festival days we tip him generously with small gifts or clothes and he is too happy to accept these, only after he finishes his delivery schedule!

This is a small tribute to such a simple person, a cyclist riding early in the morning holding an umbrella to shield him from the rain, but never failing in his duties!
