The place we travel and live and then we share stories : either by saying, writing or painting. My idea of story telling is by putting them on paper with painting. Similarly I paint from my memories. The places I have lived , people I meet on the street , music I hear and my daily walks. Thus I painted this scene here. This route is my every day walk ,though each neighborhood has its own gems and I am happy to share the places I explore and paint them later. This time I painted the hot spot next to Lombok in Utrecht city - Netherlands, which is touching boundaries of very beautiful Oog in Al park.

Opposite the Muntgebouw and along the water canal is an unexpectedly cozy spot. If you cycle past here in the summer you will really be amazed: it is teeming with liveliness! On the corner of Leidsekade is a small piece of quay where you can swim (at your own risk). It is the start of Oog in Al from the center and this spot immediately shows the coziness of the neighborhood. In the winter it is less alive but it remains a cool piece of Oog in Al yet super place for cycling and walking. Dont forget to remove your ear plugs and turning off your phone - The bird chirp will be like birds never sang before :)
