When I was very young, I often heard a children's song about the pink elephant. But recently I wanted to draw a turquoise elephant. I ended up doing it in a mixed media technique. I used collage, pastels, and then covered everything with wax medium, made a relief with the same medium. And all this in encaustic technique. I like the way the elephant protrudes from under the wax, as if it were flying in the clouds. Very often the clouds look like cute elephants.
