Curious Situation is an original, one-of-a-kind work of art.
in this work, I have incorporated several very dissimilar images into an almost supernatural, dreamlike situation. In real life, one would never encounter the beautiful young girl in an abandoned building.
An artist has the freedom to do whatever is necessary to create an emotional response on the part of the viewer. Examine yourself to see what is your response to this unusual situation.
For this work, the image of the abandoned room was digitized and laminated to 5 mil Dura-lar artists’ mylar. The figure of the girl and the other items were painted with India ink and acrylic paint.
This painting is a one of a kind, original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil Dura-Lar artist mylar film. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

. This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a simple, two inch wide painted wood frame. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.

For my overseas customers, I will send the artwork “rolled in a tube”. The extra cost of shipping large, flat packages, combined with the added susceptibility for damage, makes it more sensible to ship the safer way, in a tube. Contact me for a total adjusted price.
